Sneak Peak

We've had a several projects going on lately. Probably due to the fact that I'm in my "nesting phase." This is such a strange part of pregnancy. I catch my self being extra concerned about baseboards, blinds, tops of ceiling fans. I even caught myself clorox wiping some cabinets at work. Strange!

Some of the projects that have been getting our (maybe I should say, MY) attention: Halloween Costume for Georgia, the lil' Boy's room.

I'd like to give a shout out to my Mom and my sis for their help in sewing my first project with my new Janome. And finally, a shout to My Man for all his hard work in rearranging the kids rooms to prepare for our Jr.'s room (no his name isn't going to be Jesse).

Here are some sneak peaks of both the costume and the room.

Showered with Love

This weekend was filled with activity. First, my man went out of town with his brothers and brother-in-laws to the Houston vs Chiefs game. The outcome: not so great. G and I had a girls weekend full of fun. Saturday, my mom-in-law threw a baby shower for our little boy. I felt so loved and honored. Saturday night was a girls night, with Auntie L... and niece and nephew. My sweet little niece is learning about body parts.... Thats all I really should share. Oh the curiosity of little kids. So sweet, so hands-on, and so innocent. Sunday, Georgia and I had breakfast with Uncle R. The afternoon was spent sewing with my mom and Melody. I finally put my Janome to use! I love it. I hope to post pictures of the little divasaur project soon. The evening came to a close with a date to get yogurt with Uncle R. We're beyond blessed with the family the Lord has given us.

Justified.

It is Wednesday night. Middle of the week. Nothing special. I've been longing for a Wild Berry Smoothie from McDonald's. So, my pregnancy gave me an excuse. I think this was justified. Don't you?

KKG

Dearest Blog,

Recently three of my good friends and I went back to Manhattan for a day of Manhappiness. We went to our favorite local restaurant, then onto the Kappa house to see how it had changed. Apparently, KKG has turned into an Asian inspired colonial house. Is there such a thing?

Ms. Anderson, in God's green earth, what happened to your decor? I must admit the upside floral wallpaper and true blue sectional is truly missed.

One thing that hasn't changed at Kappa: the code to get in. Nice work on remembering the pattern of those 4 digits, Kacy.

L&L,
Amy
