The Joy of Daddy's Return

The quality of this photo isn't that great.  Nonetheless, it shares what happens each evening when I open the front door.  Georgia and Violet stand side-by-side waiting.  Then the car pulls in the driveway.  Violet kisses Georgia and paces around the house (okay - maybe paces is an understatement).  Georgia squeals with joy.  Daddy is finally home from meeting with clients.

Being a daddy's girl myself, I can totally relate with the joy Georgia feels as Jesse pulls into the driveway.

Jesse is such an amazing dad.  As soon as he makes it inside I get a kiss first, then Georgia.  As for Violet, ummm....  I don't think he cares that much.

Grass Is Always Greener

For the last couple of months we have sat or stood Georgia in the grass.  It has totally freaked her out.  As soon as we would set her in the grass, her little lips would quiver, soon she would be screaming so hard and so loud that eventually you couldn't even hear her.

This past weekend the weather was absolutely beautiful.  Jesse and I had an idea to try the grass thing one more time.  Our results are shown in the pictures below -

Georgia looks to her Daddy for reassurance.

With Mr. Lion by her side, what could go wrong?  ( We call Mr. Lion "Aslan")

Fudge Pop Celebration

Georgia May turned 10 months old on the 15th.  To celebrate this occasion we all had fudge pops.   Jesse and Georgia shared;  we didn't think Georgia was woman enough to have her own.

We love Georgia so much.  Each day her personality grows.  Currently her favorite thing to do is to mimic our actions.   She also loves to clap.  Yesterday while we watched Oprah she clapped at the end of a performance.  She constantly brings smiles to our faces.  We're so thankful that she is a part of our family.

Whatever...

GO CATS!

What a perfect way to start our weekend.  Early last Saturday Georgia got all dressed up in her wildcat attire to meet Willie for the first time.  Jesse and I were anxious to see how Georgia would do with the wild cat.  She was so at ease.  As soon as Willie reached out his arms to Georgia, who was sitting in her stroller, she reached back.  We were able to get this picture taken.  Crazy to think that in 17+ years Georgia could be heading off to the Little Apple for school (absolutely no pressure GM).
