June Wedding #2 (The Reception) - Congratulations Ryan and Lia

On Saturday another Mrs. Sieve was added to the mix.  Ryan could not have picked a greater girl to be his bride.   Welcome to the family Lia.  We love you!

Here I am with the other Mrs. Sieve.

Leah and Elle (our niece and the flower girl) dancing.

Alex, me, Mindy and Mary paused from dancing to get a picture.

Meet Dave, Larry and Cory.  Dave is married to Jesse's older sister Anna, Cory is married to Jesse's younger sister Leah.  Larry is Jesse's youngest brother.  And Larry is SINGLE (for anyone on the prowl)!

My beautiful sister-in-laws and wonderful friends Anna and Leah.

Ohhh...I love this man!

And I love his parents...without them Jesse wouldn't be here!

And my parents.

My parents were so kind to help with Georgia so Jesse and I could stay at the reception later.

A family portrait (Georgia was also a flower girl).

One last picture before Georgia went home with my parents.

Georgia gave Ryan and Lia a kiss goodbye.

Sam Lyons caught Lia's bouquet

And Larry caught the garter.

June Wedding #2 (Rehearsal Dinner) - Congratulations Ryan and Lia

Friday night we began celebrating the wedding festivities with a rehearsal dinner at Uncle Tom's restaurant The Iron Horse - An American Bistro.

Ryan and Lia provided a toast to all their friends and family that were in attendance.

(A glance at our evening.)

Aunt Sara (my mother-in-law Mara's sister) spent hours preparing for this event by making beautiful napkin rings, custom table clothes and center pieces.  Kudos to Aunt Catherine (Mara's sister-in-law) who assisted Sara in making the center pieces.

A few of Lia's close friends and bridesmaids.

The stunning bride and groom acknowledge Uncle Tom and Aunt Sara's hard work.

Even Georgia had a delicious meal.

Georgia a bit cranky.

Playground Fun

We made a Sieve family memory today.

Jesse and Georgia slid down the slide together,

Georgia and I checked out all the playground equipment,

and Jesse pushed Georgia on the swing.

Georgia May loved swinging!

June Wedding #1

This month is special to us.  Our sweet friend Emily Wilson tied the knot on June 5th and Jesse's little brother Ryan will tie the knot next weekend.  So for the month of June we've got one wedding down and one to go.

Here is a picture of our friend Emily with her bridesmaids.  Aren't they beautiful!?

Emily started out like a little sister to me at K-State.  We met thanks to good old Kappa Kappa Gamma.  Over the years Emily has been a co-worker, a fellow community grouper, a nanny for Georgia and a wonderful friend to me.  I love her so much and am thrilled that God brought her and Nick together.  Jesse and I look forward to getting to know Nick better.  Congratulations Nick and Emily!
